My camembert video from last year went mega viral so here’s a seasonal spin on the classic baked camembert.

  • Author: Julia
  • Cook Time: 20 mins
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • Camembert wheel
  • 4–5 slices of prosciutto
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 tbsp chutney (your choice)
  • 1 beaten egg
  • Sprig of rosemary
  • Your favourite crackers (for dipping)

Instructions

Step 1

Open your camembert wheel and wrap in slices of prosciutto, making sure its fully covered.

Step 2

Roll out your puff pastry and cut the edges off. Place some chutney in the middle of the puff pastry and set your wrapped camembert on top. Add another tablespoon of chutney on top, then wrap the camembert in the pastry.

Step 3

To create the pumpkin shape, I used four pieces of string tied at the bottom, which slightly indented the pastry. This step requires a bit of skill and patience, so feel free to skip as its for decoration only.

Step 4

Once done, brush some beaten egg over the pastry then air fry for 20 minutes at 190.

Step 5

Serve with some crackers and more chutney.
