Air Fryer Candied Walnuts

  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. For 2 minutes, preheat the air fryer to 180C/356F.
  2. Mix the melted butter and vanilla extract in a small bowl.
  3. Then, add the raw walnuts to the butter mixture and thoroughly combine everything.
  4. Brown sugar, cinnamon powder, and salt should be placed in another small mixing bowl. Then, mix them thoroughly.
  5. Add the sugar mixture on top of the walnuts, and blend everything thoroughly.
  6. Put the walnut mixture in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes at 180C /356F. Toss them halfway through the cooking process.
  7. Before serving, remove the candied walnuts from the air fryer and allow them to cool fully.
  8. Serve and enjoy.

  • For the best results, always preheat the air fryer before using it to cook any type of food.
  • To prevent the basket from sticking and for simple cleanup, line it with parchment paper.
  • For the best results, try to place the walnuts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If necessary, cook in batches.
  • For evenly baked results, toss the candied walnuts halfway through the cooking process.
  • Before serving, let the air fryer candied walnuts cool completely. Cooled candied walnuts become more crunchy.
