Air Fryer Frozen Root Vegetable Fries

Air Fryer Frozen Veggie Fries are a delicious snack or side dish. Ready in minutes right from frozen, these crispy fries add a little color to your dish!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound frozen veggie fries
  • seasoning salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. When the air fryer is hot, add the frozen veggie fries. Gently shake the air fryer basket so that the veggie fries are evenly spread out. A little overlap is fine, but don’t overcrowd the air fryer as this can keep the veggie fries from getting crispy.
  3. Air fry the veggie fries at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-13 minutes until tender and crispy on the outside. Gently shake the air fryer basket every 4 minutes so that the veggie fries have the opportunity to cook evenly. The exact cooking time can vary by the frozen veggie fries brand you have and your air fryer.
  4. When done cooking, remove the veggie fries from the air fryer. If you want to season them, you can add the veggie fries to a bowl, add your seasonings of choice, and gently toss. Then serve the fries right away – but be careful because they’ll be hot. Enjoy!

Notes

  • There is (typically) no need to add any oil. Often, frozen veggie fries already contain oil and/or have an outer coating that will help them get crispy.
  • Our frozen veggie fries were made out of carrot, parsnip, and red beetroot. If your veggie fries are made out of different vegetables, this could affect the cooking time a little bit.
