pkg frozen puff pastry
thawed

Italian sausage or brats
1
egg
beaten
Instructions
Remove casing from sausage, if desired.
Roll out puff pastry and cut into 6 portions that will wrap around each sausage.
Wrap sausage and seal pastry. Cut slits in the top if desired and brush with beaten egg.
Air fry for 15-20 minutes at 400F/200C, Test with a meat thermometer to make sure sausage is fully cooked–it should be 165F/80C internally.
For conventional oven, bake a 425F/220C foe 18-20 minutes. Test foe doneness as above.
