Air Fryer Cheesy Roasted Tomatoes Ingredients
To make these Air Fryer roasted tomatoes you only need a handful of ingredients. Put them on your grocery shopping list and have them ready when you start:
- Roma tomatoes – these have lots of flavor, they are plum and firm
- Graded cheese – use your favorite graded cheese like mozzarella, Gouda, or Emmertaler
- Parmesan cheese – finely shred the cheese
- Seasoning – to give this that typical Italian flavor sprinkle some Italian seasoning on top of the tomato
- Garlic powder – it adds a pungent and slightly sweet flavor to the tomatoes
- Onion powder – adds both sweet and savory flavor to this dish
- Olive oil – to cook the tomatoes you need some olive oil

How to Make Air Fryer Tomatoes with Cheese
To make this recipe cut the Roma tomatoes into 4 or 5 slices per tomato. Take the grill pan and line the sliced tomatoes on it. My Air Fryer can take about 8 to 9 slices.
Sprinkle all the slices with onion powder and garlic powder. Then add parmesan to each slice of tomato before adding a generous amount of shredded cheese.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning or fresh-cut basil. Finally, add ¼ teaspoon of olive oil per slice.
Preheat the Air Fryer to 400℉ for 3 minutes. Put the grill pan in the Air Fryer and roast them for 8-10 minutes. If your Air Fryer can’t contain all slices repeat.
Serve immediately.
