Leeks are a delicious and versatile vegetable that can be cooked in a variety of ways. They’re perfect for air frying, and this recipe will show you how to make the perfect batch!
How do you clean leeks?
Leeks can be cleaned by rinsing them under cold water. You can also soak them in a bowl of water for about 15 minutes to remove any dirt or sand.
Ingredients
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 Leek
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F.
Slice the leeks into thin discs, discarding the root end and the dark green leaves.
Rinse the leeks well to remove any dirt or sand. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
Coat the leeks with olive oil, using just enough to lightly coat them. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the leeks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. If necessary, cook in batches so they are not overcrowded.
Cook for 8-10 minutes, until they are tender and golden brown. Serve immediately.
