Breaded Pork Chops in Air Fryer

Making breaded pork chops in the air fryer couldn’t be easier! Just coat the pork chops in seasoning and breadcrumbs then cook in air fryer until golden brown and ready!

We love this meal for an easy dinner that feels like a hearty, traditional meal. With a side of Spicy Zucchini and Air Fryer Breadstick, your family will be asking for seconds!

And it’s super quick to cook up. You can even keep the seasonings and breadcrumbs on hand in the pantry to make this dish at any time. Just 12 minutes in the air fryer and you have a delicious, perfectly seasoned main course to serve with your favorite side dish!

How To Make Air Fryer Breaded Pork Chops

Start by whisking up the eggs in a bowl and pouring the breadcrumbs out onto a plate.

Pull air fryer basket out of appliance to get ready for pork chops. Spray basket with nonstick spray or brush with oil.

Season pork chops on both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Dip the pork chops into the egg mixture (both sides) then into breadcrumbs. Gently press the pork chops into the breadcrumbs to adhere the breadcrumbs well.

Place pork chops into air fryer basket in one, even layer, and replace basket into air fryer.

Cook at 400 degrees for 12 minutes, flipping the pork chops halfway through cooking time.

After cooking time is up, check internal temperature of pork with a meat thermometer. Should read 160 degrees. If not, cook for about 3 more minutes or until done.

Cooking Tips

  • Use any seasonings you like— this recipe calls for salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Italian seasoned breadcrumbs are recommended for this recipe. Adds a bit of extra seasoning.
  • Place pork chops in single layer in air fryer basket, for even cooking.
  • Be sure to flip meat halfway through cooking time. Tongs or a spatula work well for this.
