Air fryer cabbage steaks

Enjoy the crunch of air fryer cabbage steaks! They’re tasty, vegan, and turn ordinary cabbage into a yummy side dish for any meal.

  • 1 cabbage medium head
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon mild curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Prep the cabbage: Start by removing any wilted or discolored outer leaves from the 1 cabbage head.
  • Slice the cabbage in steaks: Cut the cabbage head into 1-inch to 1 ½ inch thick flat discs to create the steaks.
  • Prep and Brush with seasoning: In a small bowl, add 1 tablespoon mild curry powder,½ teaspoon garlic powder,½ teaspoon salt,½ teaspoon black pepper,1 tablespoon olive oil. Combine together. Lightly brush the cabbage steaks with a curry powder seasoning mixture on one side.
  • Air fry: Arrange the cabbage steaks in the air fryer basket, with the seasoned side facing down. Brush the remaining seasoning mixture onto the top side of the cabbage steaks. and cook at 180°C (360°F) for 12 minutes or until the cabbage is tender and the edges begin to brown
  • Serve: Once cooked, add a squeeze of lemon juice, garnish with fresh coriander, and serve. Enjoy your delicious air fryer cabbage steaks!
