  • Cook Time: 13 mins
  • Total Time: 23 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperautre
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Confectioners Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 can crescent dough

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, use a mixer to blend the cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and granulated sugar.
    Set aside.
  2. Cut your crescent dough into smaller, triangular pieces for the Danish. Roll up the sides a little on the edges to create a slight crust for each to keep the filling in.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture into the middle of each dough piece.
  4. Then, add a tbsp of cherry pie filling to the top.
  5. Place each Danish into the air fryer basket; depending on the size of your basket, you may need to do more than one batch.
  6. Air fry at 330 degrees F, for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown
  7. Remove from the air fryer. Place on a cooling rack.
  8. Mix the confectioner’s sugar and heavy whipping cream to create the glaze.
  9. Once the Danish are thoroughly cooled, drizzle each Danish with the glaze.
  10. Plate, serve, and enjoy!
