These crispy Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks are the ultimate way to cook drumsticks! They’re seasoned with garlic, smoked paprika, onion, and cayenne for a little heat, and are ready in under 20 minutes!
Ingredients
2 lb. chicken drumsticks (approx. 5 drumsticks)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder
⅛ teaspoon cayenne or more to make them spicy
Instructions
Combine the spices in a small bowl. Then, place the chicken in a separate large bowl.
Drizzle the oil over the chicken, then use your hands to make sure it’s completely coated. Next, pour the dry rub over the chicken and again, use your hands to make sure the chicken is coated in the spices on both sides.
Spray your air fryer with nonstick spray, and place the chicken in a single layer. Air fry the chicken at 400° for 12 minutes, then use kitchen tongs to flip it over and cook it for 8 more minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°. Enjoy!
