Air Fryer pulled pork gets you roasted soft pork that is great to turn into a sandwich or bun. Rub with pork seasoning and roast for at least an hour.
Pork and sweet flavors work really well that is why I rub the pork with pork loin seasoning that contains some brown sugar and spices.
The sugar not only flavors the meat but is also responsible for some color on your meat.
Ingredients
1 lbs boneless pork shoulder
2 tablespoons pork loin seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh pepper
Salt
Instructions
Brush the pork shoulder with olive oil
Either take a small bowl to combine all the spices together or use ready pork seasoning
Rub the pork seasoning on the pork. Use your hands to give the pork a good rub to get the seasoning into the meat
Preheat the Air Fryer to 375°F/190℃ for 3 minutes. Put the pork in an Air Fryer cake barrel or cake pan so the juices from the pork remain in the barrel
Set the timer to 1½ hours and turn the pork every 30 minutes during the baking time
Check the thickest part of the pork to see if it is 180°F/82℃ else extend the cooking time by 15 minutes
When the cooking time is done leave the pork inside the Air Fryer for at least half an hour, so the meat can rest
Then take the pork out of the Air Fryer and pull the pork using two forks
Notes
While the Air Fryer cools down the pork continues to cook and relax.
