BIRRIA TACOS Y CONSOME
Delicious tacos
3lbs of chuck roast butt chop 11/2 in thick
set aside place in crock pot
*Devein and clean 3 chili guajillos 2 new mexico chili pods soak in hot water 1hr.
Or boil 20 minutes set aside to cool and add in blender
*Roast marinade on skillet
2 lg tomatoes ( tomatoes first) then
5 garlic gloves( make sure not to burn)
1/2 cinnamon
2 black cloves
1/2 tsp cummin
4 bay leaves
Then add with chili pods in blender with 1/2 cup water
Add salt 1 tsp.( or to your taste)
Blend
Mix over your meat cover and keep in fridge 4 hrs or overnite 24 hrs add enough water to completely cover meat then
Place in oven 350°in pan covered in foil 3hrs
Or crockpot high 5hrs. Or till tender
