First cut up you onion, jalepeno and tomato and set to the side for now…the brown your meet in a decent size pot, once browned then drain and set to the side, in the same pot pour a little bit of vegetable oil and cook your tomato, onion and jalepeno until the onion is translucent….once thats done then put that to the side (I usually just mix it with the ground beef) then add a little more oil to the same pot and put the whole bag of conchas in it and lightly brown the conchas once you’ve done that add enough water to the pot to cover the conchas (i typically add about 4 cups because i like mine kinda soupy) then I add my seasoning while the conchas cook (like any Mexican i really dont measure the seasonings i just add them and taste the broth until i like how it tastes) I then add my cans of tomato sauce, once cooked enough to where the conchas or still kinda hard I turn the heat down to low and let it cook the rest of the way while covered for another 6 min or so, then I add the ground beef and cooked tomato jalepeno and onion mixture to it and dinner is served now my husband adds cheese to his conchas and sour cream but you dont have to i will say adding cheese to it does taste good. Yall enjoy
