Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cup sugar(divided)
1 tbsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 cup milk
2 can peaches (15 ounce each) undrained
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 ground cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)

Directions:

1 Preheat oven to 375 °
2 Melt unsalted butter in 9×13 baking dish
3 Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and milk in a medium bowl, stirring until ingredients are moistened. Pour batter over melted butter (do not stir)

4 In a medium saucepan, bring remaining 1 cup sugar, peaches(with juice or syrup) and lemon juice to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly.

5 Spoon peaches over batter(do not stir), then gently pour hot juice over batter. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.
