1. Mix in a small squeeze bottle together baking soda and water in a 1:3 ratio then depending on the length of the hair adjust the dosing. For example, you may have shoulder-length hair, if so use 1 tablespoons of baking soda, and 6 tablespoons of water.

2. This mixture can work for both dry and wet hair, just apply it from the roots to the ends of the hair. Please let it to act for a couple of minutes, and then wash it off using warm water. Indeed, it’s weird that it does not foam at the beginning, but you will get used to it.

3. Next, make sure to rinse the hair with a solution of apple cider vinegar and water, in a 1:4 ratio then add a few drops of your favorite essential oil if desired. One more tip, be sure you apply it properly, tilt the head backward, so that you can avoid any contact of vinegar with your eyes. The best part is that you can prepare this rinse beforehand, and store it in a small squeeze bottle in the bathroom, and use it whenever needed.
