Foodies are cooking tinned potatoes in an airfryer to get perfectly crispy spuds every time – and it takes less than 20 minutes.

The roast potatoes cost less than $2 to make and are fast becoming a go-to in Australia after becoming popular in the UK earlier this month.

‘These are so quick and easy and so delicious,’ one woman wrote alongside a snap of her spuds online.

To make the dish simply drain the potatoes, toss them with oil and your choice of seasoning and roast in an airfryer at 220 degrees for 12-20 minutes depending on the desired level of crispiness

Popular seasoning combinations include salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, and cajun seasoning.

Many have also recommended using stuffing mix to coat the potatoes or garlic salt and a chicken stop cube as seasoning.

‘You won’t be disappointed,’ one foodie wrote.
