Lady bird johnson’s lemon cake

1- In a blender, beat the eggs, then add the sugar and continue to beat until the mixture becomes creamy.

2- Add the butter, then the milk and lemon juice and leave the mixture aside.

3- Mix the flour, baking powder and vanilla. Add it to the liquid mixture and blend for a minute.

4- Grease a cake pan with butter, sprinkle it with flour, then add the mixture.

5- Heat the oven to 180 ° C and put the mold in the oven, until the cake is soft.

1 tablespoon lemon peel, grated

¼ cup of lemon juice
