Why These Ingredients Work

Chicken thighs remain exceptionally juicy during slow cooking, while chicken breasts offer a leaner option that still absorbs the flavorful sauce. Honey provides natural sweetness and helps create a glossy glaze, soy sauce adds rich umami flavor, garlic delivers bold aroma, and ginger adds freshness. Rice vinegar balances the sweetness, while sesame oil adds a subtle nutty finish.
