Instructions
To make these Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Pork Chops, add your thick cut pork chops to the bottom of your slow cooker.
In a medium sized mixing bowl, add ketchup, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, spices and sriracha and mix well to combine. Pour your honey garlic sauce over your pork chops and cook on Low for 4-6 hours.
Once cooked, remove your pork chops from the slow cooker and set aside. Bring four cups of water to boil in a covered pot and once boiling, add in the instant rice and butter. Stir to combine, recover the pot and remove from heat.
While your rice is cooking, pour the remaining honey garlic sauce into a sauce pan and add the cornstarch to a half cup of chicken stock or reserved honey garlic sauce. Whisk to combine the cornstarch until the mixture is smooth with no lumps and then pour the mixture into your saucepan, whisking to combine. Bring honey garlic sauce to a low boil and simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened up a bit. Serve up your Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Pork Chops on a bed of rice and garnish with parsley, green onion or chives.
