Slow Cooker strawberry jam for the year! Omg! AWESOME! I used raw sugar instead of white which is why it’s dark in colour.. Super Delish! Can’t wait for it to cool and have it toast later tonight.
Ingredients:
1kg strawberries (washed and tops removed)
1kg sugar (4 cups)
2 small green apples (peeled and sliced)
Juice of half a lemon
Directions:
All ingredients, stir to combine, tea towel under the lid, cook on low for 6-8 hours (depending on your slow cooker, I have a Kmart one so only cooked for 6 hrs).
Blend with hand held stick mixer, put in to sterilised jars. Leave lids off to cool.
