Ok I don’t usually post here, just creep around quietly stalking delicious recipes, but for the first time I made tamales! I cheated and used my tortilla press, and didn’t have corn husks so I used parchment paper. But they turned out SO delicious! I just had to share my excitement!
Edit: the recipe I used –
4C Bobs red mill masa
4C chicken broth (warm)
3/4C olive oil
1tsp baking powder
1tsp salt.
Chicken: crock potted chicken breast with enchilada sauce then shredded
Pressure cooked for 35 mins.
I’d love to hear what you all use for the insides. I want to try cheese next!
