Several UK supermarkets have issued urgent recalls for popular Christmas dinner items due to safety concerns. Customers are advised not to consume the following products and to return them to the respective stores for a full refund.

Tesco:

  • 10 Cooked Beef Slices (125g): These packs have an incorrect use-by date of January 24 instead of December 24. Consuming them past December 24 poses a health risk.
    The Sun
  • Red Cabbage and Apple (300g): This product is mislabeled with a use-by date of December 29 instead of the correct date, December 11. Eating it after December 11 could be unsafe.
    The Sun

Morrisons:

  • Crushed Garlic (75g tube): A missing ingredient that prevents bacterial growth has been omitted during manufacturing, making the product potentially unsafe. The affected tubes have a use-by date of October 19, 2025.
    The Sun

Aldi:

  • Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns (8-pack): These packs contain undeclared duck meat and sesame, posing risks to vegetarians and individuals with allergies. All best-before dates are affected.
    The Sun

Waitrose:

  • ZOE’s Daily 30+ 7 Day Supplements: This product may contain small stones and pieces of metal, making it unsafe to consume. Affected packs have a best-before date of September 30, 2025.
    The Sun

Dunnes Stores (Ireland):

  • Various Cheeses: Nearly a dozen cheeses are being recalled over fears of Listeria monocytogenes contamination. All dates are affected.
    The Sun

Customers who have purchased any of these products should not consume them and can return them to the store for a full refund, with no receipt required. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) oversees these recalls to protect consumers from potential health risks.
