Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped BBQ Chicken Kabobs

Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped BBQ Chicken Kabobs are the perfect way to get grilled chicken without having to turn on the grill! The bacon keeps all the moisture in the chicken so it’s juicy and so flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 bacon slices, cut into small pieces

BBQ Marinade

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  • Cut chicken into 1 ½ inch cubes and season with a bit of salt.
  • Cut the skewers the length depending on the size of the air fryer basket.
  • Wrap bacon around chicken pieces and thread onto skewers.
  • To make the marinade, combine oil, BBQ sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano and thyme.
  • Brush the skewers with the BBQ marinade on all sides and set aside for 15 minutes. Save remaining marinade.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 F | 175 C and grease the basket.
  • Place skewers in the air fryer. It may take a couple batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Air fry for 6 minutes then flip brush the other side with a bit of marinade sauce and air fry for another 6 minutes.
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
