Air Fryer Meatballs

With only a handful of fresh ingredients, these air fryer meatballs are done in 20 minutes! Super juicy and delicious, these are the best meatballs!

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ¾ lb Italian ground sausage
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (plain or panko)
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl add the breadcrumbs, egg, seasonings, parsley, and grated parmesan cheese. Toss to combine.

  2. Add the beef and pork into the bowl, then use your hands to combine everything thoroughly.

  3. Next, taking about 2-3 TBS of meat mixture (this is a hearty sized meatball), roll it into a round ball, pressing it firmly together. Repeat for all of the meat, until you have 18-20 meatballs.

  4. Please the meatballs into the air fryer basket, making sure they are NOT touching (the air needs to circulate around them). *Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook 2 batches.*

  5. Cook in the air fryer on 370 degrees for 9 minutes. Open the air fryer and shake the meatballs, then close and cook for 3-4 additional minutes. The internal temperature of the meatballs should reach 160 degrees F. *Depending on your model of air fryer, time may need to be increased.

  6. Serve the meatballs immediately.
