Air Fryer Cashews Ingredients

To make this recipe you only need a few ingredients. Put the following ingredients on your grocery shopping list and have them ready when you start:

  • Raw cashews – the main ingredient
  • Vegetable oil – enhances the flavor of the cashews but you can roast them without any oil. You can use avocado oil, olive oil, or canola oil
  • Salt – optional as well you can add salt to give them more flavor
  • Seasoning – if you like you can sprinkle the cashews with your favorite seasoning but this is optional as well

How To Make Air Fryer Cashews

To make roasted cashews is very easy. Start with preheating the Air fryer at 325℉/163℃ for 3 minutes. Put the cashew nuts in the Air Fryer basket.

If you want to use oil, put the cashews in a bowl and drizzle a ¼ teaspoon of oil on top of the cashews. You need very little oil to coat the cashews.

Swirl the cashews to coat them with oil. Using oil will make the salt stick better. Cook the cashews for 6 to 8 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through so all sides can brown and you can check if the cashews are golden yet.

When they are golden brown take them out of the Air Fryer else extend the cooking time by a minute until golden brown. If you extend the cooking time shake the basket again before extending the cooking time.

When the cooking time is done take the cashews out of the Air Fryer. Sprinkle them with salt or your favorite seasoning. Shake the cashews to coat them with seasoning.
