YOU’LL NEED
4-6 tbsp ice water
1/2 a small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup carrots, diced
2 big sprigs fresh thyme (don’t even bother stripping the leaves)
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 1/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 a chicken (just grab a rotisserie bird if you don’t have leftovers) or about 2 cups, stripped
1 cup frozen peas
1 egg, beaten with a tablespoon of water
