Before ya go correcting me about this Air Fryer Shrimp Boil recipe, let me just say I am aware it’s not actually boiled.
But hear me out… it’s everything yummy about a traditional shrimp boil, just made in the air fryer.
Why? Well, it ‘s sooooo easy plus extra flavorful!
Don’t believe me, try it for yourself
How to make Air Fryer Shrimp Boil
First cut 1/2 pound of petite redskin or gold potatoes in half and put them in a bowl.
If the potatoes are larger you may need to cut them into fourths.
Add some olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning.
Toss the potatoes until they are evenly seasoned and put them in the air fryer basket.
Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 9 to 10 minutes.
While the taters are cooking go ahead and put 1/2 pound shrimp, 1/2 pound smoked sausage slices, and 2 ears corn on the cob into the same bowl.
I used a sharp knife to cut the corn into thirds, or just cut in half works too.
Add more olive oil and Old Bay (no need for more salt and pepper), and some lemon juice.
Then just toss until combined.
And add to the air fryer basket with the potatoes and another sprinkle of Old Bay.
It may be a tight fit but it’s okay if there’s some overlapping.
Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for another 9 to 10 minutes.
