Ingredients
For Frozen Shredded Hash Browns:
▢ Olive or avocado oil spray or 1 tablespoon oil
▢ 1 lb 10 oz. package shredded frozen hash browns
▢ Salt and pepper to taste
For Fresh/Refrigerated Hash Browns:
▢ 1 tablespoon oil, or oil cooking spray
▢ 1 1 lb. 4 oz. bag refrigerated Simply Potatoes shredded hash browns
▢ Salt and pepper to taste
For Frozen Patties:
▢ 4 hash brown patties
▢ oil spray optional
Instructions
For Frozen Shredded Hash Browns:
Preheat air fryer to 370 F. Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Pour package of hash browns into air fryer basket and spray the top of the hash browns with cooking spray. Spread evenly in the basket. Air fry for about 20-25 minutes or until completely cooked through and browned and crisp. Stop halfway through the cooking time to spray top of hash browns season with salt.
For Frozen Patties:
Preheat air fryer to 400 F. Spray basket with cooking spray. Place patties in an even layer in the basket without overlapping. Air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Patties should be crisp and golden brown; add more time if necessary.
For Fresh Shredded Hash Browns:
Pour package of potatoes into a bowl. Toss with oil or cooking spray. Season with salt pepper, and any additional seasonings like paprika and garlic powder. Spray air fryer basket then pour in the potatoes, spreading in an even layer. Spray potatoes again then close basket and cook at 370 F for 12 to 20 minutes, or until hot and crisp. Check for doneness at the halfway point. Add additional salt and pepper if needed.
