I first tried bang bang sauce about a year ago, and now I will put that creamy, sweet, spicy sauce on just about anything! This time it was super good on Air Fryer Bang Bang Chicken Bites!
How to Make Air Fryer Bang Bang Chicken Bites
You’ll start by setting up a breading station like this.
A beaten egg in one bowl, flour seasoned with kosher salt and pepper in another bowl.
And a pound of chicken cut into bite size pieces.
Dip the chicken into the egg first, then in the flour.
And into the air fryer basket.
Spray non stick cooking spray over top and then set the air fryer to 400 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.
Oh, and shake the basket halfway through.
Crispy golden brown chicken bites is what you’ll see!
As the chicken was cooking in the air fryer I made some homemade bang bang sauce…
For coating the chicken bites in the sauce, I like to use a container with a lid.
The chicken bites go in with most of the bang bang sauce.
Then put the lid on and shake until evenly coated.
Serve the Air Fryer Chicken Bites with the remaining sauce for dipping!
If you want to get a little fancy, garnish with chopped chives
