Air Fryer Boneless Chicken Thighs

How To Air Fry Boneless Chicken Thighs

Pat the chicken thighs dry with a kitchen towel to remove moisture.

In a small container, mix the paprika, oregano, parsley, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oil, and salt in a small bowl.

Add the marinade to the chicken thighs and rub it in to make sure that all parts of the chicken are coated in the marinade.

Ingredients

4 pieces Boneless Chicken thighs about 750g
½ tablespoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Parsley
½ teaspoon Oregano
½ teaspoon Garlic powder
¼ teaspoon Onion powder
¼ teaspoon Black pepper
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions

Pat the chicken thighs dry with a kitchen towel to remove moisture.
In a small container, mix the paprika, oregano, parsley, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oil, and salt in a small bowl.
Add the marinade to the chicken thighs and rub it in to make sure that all parts of the chicken are coated in the marinade. If you have the time, you can put it in the fridge to marinate for a few hours. If not, go ahead to the next step immediately.
Arrange the boneless chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Don’t put them over one another and don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
Air fry at a temperature of 400F/200C for 15-18 minutes flipping the chicken thighs halfway into cooking.
When the chicken is cooked, remove them from the air fryer.
Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Pat the chicken thighs dry so they are moisture free and the marinade does not water down.
The quantity of black pepper recommended in this recipe is a guide only adjust it to suit your taste.
You can also substitute black pepper for cayenne, or crushed chilli flakes.
Season chicken generously.
Marinate it in the fridge if you have time for that. You can marinate for 30 minutes to a maximum of 24 hours.
The marinade used in this recipe is so good however you can use other marinade, seasoings, or dry rub of your choice.
If you prefer not to use oil in cooking it, exclude oil and use only the seasoning,
No need to line the air fryer basket with parchment paper as the chicken comes out cleanly from the non-stick air fryer basket without it.
There is no need to preheat the air fryer for this recipe.
Do not overcrowd the AF basket. Arrange the chicken thighs on a single layer, no overlapping.
