Air Fryer Parmesan Garlic Chicken Drumsticks

A simple marinade created with everyday pantry ingredients elevates the flavors of these air fryer Parmesan Garlic Chicken Drumsticks. A quick and easy weeknight meal!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 pounds chicken drumsticks
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Pat drumsticks with paper towels and generously season both sides with salt and pepper. Place into a large zip top bag and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, minced garlic, olive oil and lemon juice. Stir until well combined.
  • Pour marinade into the zip top bag over the chicken, squeeze most of the air out and seal the bag. Push the chicken around to coat. Lay flat in the refrigerator and marinate for 30 minutes to overnight, turning the bag often.
  • When ready to cook, remove from zip top bag and place on racks in air fryer.  If your air fryer doesn’t have racks, cook in batches. Lay out drumsticks so that they are not touching, allowing air flow between them.
  • Cook at 380 Degrees F for 15 minutes then flip chicken and rotate racks.  Cook for 15 minutes more and check the internal temperature.
  • Once the drumsticks have reached an internal temperature of 165 Degrees F, they are ready to serve.  Enjoy!

Notes

Every Air Fryer is different! My chicken was done in 30 minutes but yours might not be. PLEASE check the chicken with a meat thermometer to make sure it is done. Continue cooking in 5-10 minute increments, checking temperature each time until done. Lets be safe people!
