Ingredients
3 frozen tuna steaks
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
Take a small bowl and combine olive oil, soy sauce, cayenne pepper (optional), salt, and pepper
Brush the marinade on the tuna steaks and leave the tuna for 5 minutes
Preheat Air Fryer to 370℉/187℃ for 3 minutes with a grill pan
Put the steaks in a single layer in the grill pan. Cook for 2 and half minutes.
Turn the steaks and cook for another minute and a half if you want your steaks medium
If you want your tuna steaks well done add 1 minute per side
Take out of the Air Fryer and serve immediately
Notes
The cooking time depends on the thickness of the tuna and on how well done you like your steak.
The steaks I cooked in this recipe are about ½ inch thick. So for a 1-inch tuna steak cooked to medium, double the cooking time.
