Crispy Halloumi Fries In The Air Fryer

Cooked to perfection air fryer halloumi fries

Ingredients

  • 325 g Halloumi (or 1 pack)
  • 60 g Flour
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Onion Granules (or powder)
  • Salt and Pepper (to season)
  • Vegetable Oil (to brush on the halloumi)

Instructions

  1. First, cut the halloumi into 1cm slices, then cut into sticks. Pat dry with kitchen towel and brush lightly with some vegetable oil.
  2. In a bowl, add the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and salt and pepper. Mix together.
  3. Dip the halloumi sticks into the flour until fully covered. Give it a shake and dip again to make sure it’s covered then shake again. Repeat with the rest of the sticks.
  4. Set the air fryer to 200℃. Place the halloumi fries in the air fryer being careful not to overlap and cook for 8 minutes, turning half way.
