Simple Air Fryer Roast Potatoes

Fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside; these Simple Air Fryer Roast Potatoes are a fantastic quicker alternative to oven roasted potatoes. You’ll want to make these roast potatoes to accompany every meal!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 kg potatoes
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Peel 1.5kg potatoes and cut into large chunks. Add to a large pan
  2. Par boil the potatoes for 7 or until you can insert the tip of a sharp knife

  3. Drain the potatoes thoroughly in a colander

  4. Toss the potatoes in the colander to rough up the edges. Leave the potatoes to steam dry for a few minutes
  5. Preheat your air fryer if needed

  6. Put the potatoes back in the pan and add 2 tbsp oil and 1 tsp sea salt

  7. Add the potatoes to your air fryer basket – you might need to do this in batches. Make sure you don’t over crowd the basket

  8. Cook the potatoes for 25 minutes at 190°C, turning half way

  9. If you want them even more crisp you can cook them for a little longer, just check them every few minutes

Notes

I use an air fryer with a 3.7L basket.
