Garlic Bread Sloppy Joes

Cheesy sloppy Joe garlic toast is a delicious twist on the classic sloppy Joe, served open-faced on crispy garlic bread topped with savory ground beef, tangy tomato sauce, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ½ Yellow Onion diced
  • 8 ounce Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ cup Ketchup
  • 8 Frozen Garlic Toast
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded

Instructions

  1. In a hot skillet over medium high heat add the ground beef and chopped onions. Cook until no pink is visible inside the meat, then drain off any leftover grease.
  2. Add in the tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder. Stir until well combined then bring to a simmer.
  3. Place the garlic toast on a baking sheet, then top each piece with some of the sloppy joe mixture followed by shredded cheese. Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes or until the bread is warm and the cheese is melted.
