In less than 10 minutes, these delicious garlic mushrooms in the air fryer will be perfectly cooked.  Combine fresh baby Bella mushrooms with garlic and olive oil for tender, crispy, air-fried mushrooms that everyone will love. Air fryers provide a healthy alternative to deep frying without all the mess.

Cooking mushrooms in the air fryer is a breeze! Forget about sauteing them, and let the air fryer cook them to perfection. The heat of the air fryer gives these mushrooms a bit of an outer crisp with a tender and delicious center. Perfect for a simple side dish or a hearty vegetarian dish, and it’s low carb.

Ingredients for this Easy Air Fryer Mushrooms Recipe

baby Bella mushrooms – These add the most flavor, but you can easily use white button mushrooms or portobello mushrooms as well.

Olive oil – The oil helps cook mushrooms so that the added seasonings stay on during the cooking process, and it adds flavor and healthy fat.

Garlic powder – The star of the show for these air fryer garlic mushrooms! If you want to use other fresh herbs, you can always add more.

Salt/pepper – To add flavor as needed.

How to make garlic mushrooms in the air fryer

Step 1: Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Wash the mushrooms well. Pat them dry with a clean paper towel.

Tip: Use a pasta strainer to clean the mushrooms. This is a simple way to run them under cold water and get them clean without the worry of them falling into the sink.

Step 2: Slice the mushrooms in half. Stir the oil and seasonings together in a bowl. Add the sliced mushrooms and toss to coat.

Step 3: Cook for 4 minutes; shake the basket and cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from the air fryer basket, and serve warm.
