Stuffed Salmon In Air Fryer Recipe

This stuffed salmon in air fryer is a feast for all of your senses! You’ll love how the creamy, umami flavor of the crab meat filling combines with the beautiful buttery flesh of the salmon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 (6 ounces) salmon filet, preferably skinless
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 6 ounces crab meat
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup sauteed bell pepper, optional
  • Oil sprayer bottle with olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, add the cream cheese, crab meat, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, old bay seasoning, parsley, and bell pepper if using, toss to combine. Set aside
  2. Place the 4 salmon filets on a cutting board and pat dry with paper towels. Using a sharp knife, cut a deep slit into the side of each filet to create a pocket. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Stuffed each pocket with about 2 tablespoons of the crab meat mixture.
  3. Spritz the air fryer basket with olive oil, place the stuffed salmon in the air fryer basket, spritz with olive oil and cook to 390ºF for 8-10 minutes or until an internal temperature reaches 135ºF.
  4. Serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If using a mesh air fryer trail or basket, use aluminum foil, parchment paper, or reusable air fryer liners to avoid sticking the salmon to the basket.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and in the freezer for up to 3 months.
