Thick, creamy, and refreshing, this Vietnamese Avocado Smoothie is a sweet treat that only requires a handful of ingredients! It’s easy to make and tastes just like what you’d get at a restaurant. It comes together in a flash in the blender.
There are a few names for this delicious avocado drink. You may find this under Vietnamese avocado shake, avocado milkshake, Sinh Tố Bơ, or just avocado smoothie. Regardless of what you call it, you’ll be wishing you made more after your first sip.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- avocados — make sure they are ripe. Keep in mind that while the skin colour is a good indicator of ripeness, not all varieties will change colour when ripe. I usually get Hass avocado.
- sweeten condensed milk — this is a key ingredient and adds to the avocado shake that rich creamy taste.
- milk — I find whole full-fat dairy milk to give the me the best results. You can add more to thin out the shake but I like mine super thick. I love eating it with a spoon haha.
- ice
