Air Fryer Cheesesteak Rolls are a quick and easy dinner or lunch to add to the menu this week. Crescent dough is filled with roast beef, peppers, onions and cheese and is sure to be a family pleasing meal.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
2 medium size bell peppers, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
8 ounces thin sliced roast beef
2 tablespoons best dry rub or steak seasoning
2 cans refrigerated crescent dough (8 ounces each)
4 ounces shredded Mozzarella cheese
Horseradish Sauce for Serving, optional
Instructions
Melt butter in a skillet and cook peppers and onions over medium heat, stirring occasionally until vegetables are softened, about8 -10 minutes.
Mix in sliced roast beef and dry rub and continue to cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Preheat air fryer to 400° for 5 minutes.
Unroll crescent dough into triangles.
Top each with cheese, roast beef and peppers and onions. Roll up.
Cook rolls in batches, not touching at 380° for 4 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove to a wire rack until ready to serve.
Serve with horseradish sauce if desired.
Notes
Conventional Oven Method:
Preheat oven to 375°. Place rolls on a greased or lined baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for 15- 17 minutes or until golden brown.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheat in air fryer at 325° for 2 minutes or in microwave for about 30 seconds.
