Air Fryer Turkey Wings

Make the most of those meaty turkey wings! These turkey wings are seasoned perfectly, then “fried” in the air fryer. As a result, the skin gets extra crispy, while the meat becomes moist, juicy, and more flavorful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds turkey wings about 2 whole wings
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper 1
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Set the turkey wings at room temperature 10-12 minutes before cooking. Then, pat them completely dry with paper towels.
  2. Set the air fryer to cook at 375°F, and let it preheat for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, drizzle the oil over the dry turkey wings and use your hands to rub the oil all over, coating the skin thoroughly. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, distributing the seasonings evenly.
  4. Once the air fryer is preheated, place the seasoned turkey wings in the basket, and set the timer for 30 minutes. At the 15-minute mark, use tongs to flip, and continue cooking for 10-15 minutes (or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.)
  5. For extra crispy skin: Increase the heat to 400°F, and let the wings cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  6. Remove the wings with tongs, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving with your favorite holiday sides.
