In Newfoundland we have a dish called Cod Au Gratin. It’s sooo delicious! It’s normally made with a rue of flour, butter and milk. However, I cheated and made it this way this eve. Quick and easy.
I used a can of Cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese and fish (it’s normally cod but really any white fish will do.)
First I prepped my three layers:
I boiled the fish with onion. Then I drained it and got it into chunks.
Then I took the can of soup and added 1/2 cup of milk and whisked it together.
Next I shredded half a block of cheddar cheese.
I took my air fryer pot and made my layers: put a layer of fish, a layer of soup and a layer of cheddar. I did this 3 times. Then I baked for 12 mins at 250 degrees F. Then I cooked for 10 mins at 350 degrees F. (The cheese overcooked a bit but was still very tasty.) I had it with some mashed potatoes.
So delicious!
